Large copper nail. Archaic or newer?

This is a find from yesterday I thought was iron so I threw it in vinegar along with other things. Glad I checked on it today. I'm curious how old it might be. It was found in an area that has stuff like flaked tools perhaps thousands of years old, but also stuff right up to the late 1800's so I don't know. I included a pic of other copper examples from the area. They still have their green since I wasn't dumb enough to put them in vinegar.

I am no expert but could be a old copper complex awl. The two longer peices in second pic look like "performs". Two green lumps for sure look like drift or float copper, top one for sure.

Seeing as your post mostly Native American items you might want to post your finds in the Native Amerian find fourm. Probably get more questions answered there then in today's finds. Anywho looks like a intresting site you have.

Agreed. But the next time I come across some mass produced, durable, not so old coins which every person - from every civilization had in abundance throughout the entire course of their lives & I can buy on eBay or at an antique mall or a flea market... I know where to post.
