Hi Jon

Nice Finds

Is this an old site in Ohio or just some good luck finding the old ones today? How big of area do you have to search?

Be sure to let us know what else you find there.

Thanks for sharing

Sanat,

The site is a little community center where they have voting. It sits on an old road. I never really thought about looking there(I figured someone had cleaned it out). I noticed some trees were cleared on the hill behind it. I found the coins on the hillside. It was a small area, maybe 20' x 25'. I am planning on searching the grass area next. I have a suspicion it will be better than the hill. At least I hope so.
Finding the Australian coin was a suprise, but it fit right in with the dates of the other coins. You never know what is in the ground.
Regards,
Jon Dickinson.
