Hello, I found this Large button or pin today at lunch :icon_thumleft: It is about the diameter of a silver dollar and has what looks like a three legged bird on the front. The words around it are Latin which say, Nostra Es Devs Spes or " God is our Hope " :icon_sunny: Some research says that this design was used by Hessian Mercenaries who fought with the British during the revolutionary war. Later on the design was used for other type buttons, like coats and things up through at least the 1960's. I am not sure about this one as it is quite larger than the other ones I've seen :dontknow: Any thoughts :icon_thumleft: would be appreciated Thanks Paul :coffee2:

Unfortunately I believe it's modern blazer button. I found one just like it a couple months ago. :-\ Keep at it though as you never know what's in that next shovel full. It's an early knock off of a Teutonic Emblem. ALot of blazer jackets employ these style buttons.
