Hello All. Been a bit too busy too post but not too busy to hunt so things have piled up from the last few weeks of digging holes. Found these items at various old homes, empty lots, and curb strips.

Got the usual variety of clad (221 coins $11.66 worth), ammo, toys, keys, auto stuff, etc. along with a some nice Wheaties (best was a 1912D), a merc, cool ashtray, a strange yellow lead bug thing, silver ring, and an SLQ...think the SLQ is 1919 but maybe someone can confirm that.

PS not sure why but the ring is marked "14K" on the inside and ".925" on the outside maybe gold plated silver??

Is the 14k marking on the inside of the front part of the ring? I have come across rings where the front is gold and the back band is silver.

Hello S&S. Both marks are on the band "14K" on the inside and ".925" on the outside almost opposite each other.

Hello cudamark. The ring is definitely silver and it seems like I can see very faint gold tint on the inside of it...had to be very this thin Au coat...never heard of gold plated silver tho.

Interesting. Its a cool ring either way, be it gold or silver. Seems very artisan made and non mass produced.

Hello Whyme. I wish that was one week of digs but sadly not...it took about 6 weeks in all and probably 10 or 12 hunts at 8 different sites.

I found that same ashtray this summer also, yours is in better condition though.

I believe the handle looking things in the center of the 4th photo are old valve covers from car or truck tires.
