Hello, last day of Thanksgiving break from U of M. Met with a farmer at 9 am and he drove me to three spots. Two of them were schools built in the 1930's and the other was a field that he had lost a field radio. The first one was real trashy- nails and desk parts everywhere. I didn't have my shooter coil, so I retreated to the outskirts of the debris field. I snagged a 1916 and 1953 D wheats, a marble, and an ink well. I then lunched in town and I went to site number two. This was actually the farmer's old school (both of these had been torn down). Not as trashy, but I did get another ink well, an 1948 D wheat, and a tiny mother of pearl button. Lastly, I tried to find his radio, but no luck. I also brought my new camera for some field pics. Enjoy

Very cool ink wells, Congrats!

Haven't been out Ann Arbor way in years, must be some nice places to hunt out there.

Good luck,
HH.
