Hi Folks,

This old site keeps drawing me back down by tha
river,

A few days ago I was down there and found some
more stuff,

There was a lock that looked as if someone tried to
smash it open with a hammer,

Also, there was this old iron leg,

This is a real old 41 cal rim fire cartridge,

This is strange,

Strange because earlier this year I found a larger one,

Also, earlier this year another MDer found this one. It
has a tiny hole in it along with the large hole,

Tabdog,
Looks to me like homemade sinkers, made from spent lead? I've seen similiar in our area along the river. HH

i like it when folks use bust silver for size comparison. :headbang:
that should be a standardized measurement.
seems like lead sinkers is a very plausible conclusion.

Hay Doc,

I did not want to try and sway anybodies opinion, but

I think you are right.

That is the best thing I have been able to think of.

Look at this I found there.

This is a mini ball that was smashed and folded over the fishing line,
