the first box I got a 1968 d and mint 1965 along with a beat up 1966 (gold toned and really beat up. I also got fooled by the rim, it was a 50 centavos from Ecuador (stainless steel). I also got short one roll and over on another, breaking even. The other was a skunk.
I wrap my coins and bring them to other banks than shere I get my stash. But was wondering do the banks turn in coin wrapped rolls to be machined wrapped to be put ib boxes again? My wife thinks I'll be getting the same coins back. But I told her I didn't think so.

Can't wait to get rid of these boxes so I can get some more.

In the long long run you might get some back, but chances are slim.

Most banks without a coin counter will save them up, until they have say, $500. They will then remove them from the rolls and bag them to be shipped.

You are always looking through halves that have been looked through before, many will be ones that you have already looked through as well. The hope is that a couple worth keeping get mixed in

Yes the searched coins are like a river that carry the few good coins to us. We always look through coins that have been looked through before. Many of these are worn down to slick rimmed trash. Luckily there are literally billions to look through .
