Detector(s) used
I’ve used about all modern ones but right now: CTX 3030, White’s MXT Pro, XP Deus, Vaquero, White’s TRX
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I was going to title this "CTX pays off with silver!!", but I think the AT Pro thing has kind of played off.

Anyway, I have detected very little since May. Actually, my last silver coin was a 1951 Rosy that I found in May. I got out this past weekend and yesterday.

We detected 2 other houses Saturday which should have produced but didn't so I we went to this small yard that I had detected before that had resulted in a silver dime earlier in the year. I found the two Rosys in this yard, a 1954 and 1946. I also dug what looks to be a clay marble, but it is a little off concentric and pocked full of holes. I would like further thoughts on this. Is it a clay marble?

Yesterday I detected a large house that dates back to the late 1800s. Everything up to this point worth cleaning has been found on the sidewalk. This is actually my second attempt to find something worthwhile in the yard, although I didn't detect the front yard the last time. Well the front yard resulted in the 1954 Franklin half and 1936 mercury dime. Both silvers were maybe 2 inches deep.

Awesome -big silver and little silver :occasion14:

Nice silver finds.

I think the AT Pro thing was resting UNTIL you woke it lol. Probably should have went ahead with your intended title!

Oooh, yeah, I'm staying away from that AT Pro thing. In my infinite wisdom as you guys probably remember I posed an ATPro question and got flambéed.

All I will say is nice silvers, that big ol franklin is saweet!

CTX rULES!!

I know. I understand all the hype they are good machines, but some AT Pro swingers are like Texans when it comes to their machines. Now, I hope I don't get torn into by any Texans, lol. I recently got on another website and it is the same thing.

I guess us CTX users don't have to brag, we know our machine is good and we are the elite ones! (I can't help but poke) :notworthy:

Oh, I didn't mention that a friend of mine went over the front yard where I found the Franklin and Merc about a month ago and said it wasn't worth detecting cause his machine wouldn't settle down cause of the trash. He uses an AT Pro. I wanted to give him benefit of the doubt and not mention it, but thought I would now.

Depending which way it goes with AT Pro or CTX, I'm good. LOL

Great finds!!

good job on the silver, a half at 2 inches, crazy!!

Nice finds Pointman, funny how the same machine work differently in different hands! Half are always cool to find, heck any silver is still fun to me.

Hi-Ho silver........ away

Nice sweet silver! Congrats!

Gratz on the Half!

You lucky dog you. :headbang: That Franklin is nice. Still looking for my 1st

I was fidgeting with something and I casually looked down and saw the half buried half out of the hole and thought, "Wow, there is a half. I wonder if it a Walker cause I am due for one and they are more common". I would have thought it was a walker and I wanted it to be one. I dug a Walker almost 3 years ago and I am seeing everyone else post them. BTW, the Franklin is probably in extra fine condition.
