Hit two spots last week on my two days off and managed to mark off 3 incredible finds from the 1700s, and THREE more things off the bucket list. First day out I managed to have two consecutive hits in one swing on an old path near a 1700s foundation, first hole popped out an absolutely incredibly beautiful Georgian Silver Plated Shoe Buckle frame about 8 inches deep, second hole popped out the chape making it complete!! Also found a gorgeous silver plated decorative rosette and a gold plated ring with stone!! Second site popped out an 1801 draped bust and a 1782 Hibernia!! Along with some other cool relics. What a great week it was!! All found with the equinox 800 in field mode, recovery 6, sensitivity 22, iron audio on. HH!!:headbang:

That's a beautiful buckle and rosette. The high class shoe buckles are not posted very often. It looks like the fork might take well to some restoration and wind up looking very sharp!

Awesome buckle, sure looks silver to me, one of the nicest complete examples I’ve seen posted. That rosette is up there too, beautiful. And 2 amazing colonial coins. Congrats on a great site and hunt!

That's an amazing shoe buckle. One of the nicest I've seen posted on Tnet. It would surely be the centerpiece of my digging collection. Post up some more pics of it cleaned up. Congrats!
