Have a field I always look for Indian artifacts in and noticed china pieces in one area and brought back detector. Found my first seated coin and an old Indian head penny. It's an 1889 seated dime and penny is an 1870 Indian head. Have found ceramic marbles and also an old brass lock with big "St Louis" on each side.

Dime has what looks to be calcium buildup on it. Not sure how to get off but coin underneath looks to be in great shape. Think the fertilizers in field mess the coins up.

Wow!I have dug an 1876 IH before but never any silver coins yet...that seated is an awesome find!
