Last weeks Civil War and earlyer finds

I was thinking that most of these where Civil war era, but now I think they may be even earlier. Any ideas? There is a musket ball, 2 buttons, part of a clay pipe, a thimble, some pottery shards, a part of a cannon ball and a flint drill point that my 6 year old found.

The larger button looks like a late 1700's or early 1800's button. That musket ball looks revolutionary or war of 1812. What is the caliber of it?. That might answer the question....Lance
