Late 1800's dinner plate in the woods

My 13 year old daughter found this while scouting the woods behind our house. She said it was just laying on the ground. She went back the next day and found the other piece. She's determined to find the rest of it. Our house is old, I just dont know how old but that plate is 1880's or so. Good luck out there.

Thanks Brad. She found a few bottles back there too but not by digging. You're right about shovel and screen. She'll have a blast.
