Very nice, if there is that much for 1/2 hour, think of what might be brought up if you hit it slow and grid it.

The playground is fairly new, the area next to it has been occupied since the 1940's. The dime is a 1948. We (Don and I) have hit the older area before and did well, wheats, silver dimes, and a silver quarter. It had been awhile since we hit it and I had never used the DFX there so I tried the area again. We will head back to this spot again one day.

Hey Rich.... Just wondering... What is the Deepest coin recovery you have
made with your DFX....? I think I'm missing out on the deep one's with
my IDX Pro. 8 or 9 inches seems to be my max. recovery range. I'd hate
to think I was missing all the good stuff, thats lying at 10 inches down. I'm
thinking of upgrading...... OOOHH,,,YEAL....! Great recovery.....NICE..!

Hey Brink, your IDX Pro is an awesome detector! I am just getting used to my DFX after getting a problem with it straightened out. I have hit silver to about the same level as you with my MXT. I have gotten some really deep wheats with my Classic III as well. The DFX so far has topped out at about 7 inches. The thing I see about the DFX that can be a problem or a benefit is that for maximum depth you need to go through a process of bumping up different settings to suit the ground where you are detecting that particular time. Sometimes I just don't feel like going through a lot of tuning and take the MXT instead. I am hoping to get good with the DFX and see if I can get more out of it than the MXT. It will be hard to beat the depth of your IDX Pro no matter what you use.

silver & relic find should be better...... Maybe the good stuff just is'nt there
to be found. I guess I'll keep at it..... HH BRINK
