Back out to my fly infested area tonight...some great stuff out there.

I assume these are horse bones, including the 4 horse shoes (3 pictured) and even the bullet (on the right horseshoe). This is the second time I've found horse parts in this general area. There was a lot more bones, I just gave up. I assume someone shot their horse many years ago...this area was part of a Mormon tote road, maybe it was time for horse stew?

This is the third little camp axe like this I've found this season....all with the AT Max.

More lead and assorted stuff.

Buttons and stuff....pretty cool that the flat button grew into the root.

And a piece of copper to finish the night off.

No wonder there's so many flies there... with several horse carcasses laying around lol.. but that (early!) axe head is nice. Looks like a fairly old site, have you found anything other than brass, lead and axes? Cool stuff, thx for sharing..Ddf.

That was found in this area....no coins yet. Always a piece of copper in the finds, always axe heads and horseshoes and lead. I don't understand why no coins are ever lost?
