I only found the gun in the center and the Lone Ranger bullet today but they looked so lonely I added a few of the lead toys I've found. I do find them interesting.

(The little car is not lead.)

Thanks for peeking.

HH!

They are cool to dig up.

I have found a very similar gun.

Is it just me, or could this gun be a replica of a Gatling gun? Might place the age better if it turned out to be.

Thanks for the response.

HH!

In 1999 I found outside of Clemson,S.C. A whole army of lead Soldiers (Around 40 pieces). At the time I was just getting into metal detecting
And did'nt even own a computer. When My wife and I split up I left them in a box inside an out building. I think that they came from the twenty's
Asked her later about them......... Thrown out with other things...:BangHead:

Great Collection! The broken soldier is a Barclay #775 "Soldier, wounded with crutches." Circa 1935-1950. The headless figure is possibly a Metal & Toy Soldier Company I-11 Train Figure-Conductor. The little blue car is a Barclay BV108 "Two Door Sedan," circa 1960. The cannon is possibly a Grey Iron cannon from "Set Number 6." Circa 1930's-40's. The other figures that appear to have USGI WW2 helmets on are possibly Cherilea or Crescent USGI's, I have few pix to compare them with at this time. The guns, hammer, tennis racket, and train cars could be Tootsietoy, Lincoln Logs, or Cracker Jack prizes. Nice find on the Lone Ranger bullet casing too! I am sure you can look that one up online for a better date of manufacture.
Keep digging, have fun. Subterranean
