Lead Bag Seal or Bale Seal?
I have dug many of these and do not know much about them or how I can find out about them.
I am turning to you all for any references I can use to get some info on these.
This one I found today for example.
Looks to have “Chicago” on one side and NGR Or NGN on the other.
First maybe if I knew the difference between a Bag and Bale seal might set me off in the right Direction.

This one is the size of a US Dime.
Found it a soccer field that used to be farmed pre 1930s I am thinking due to the iron and horse tack found.

Here are the others found prior to today.

Any info would be appropriated.
