Ouch! Wait till you start doing permissions. It is amazing what junk is under even the best kept lawns. Good gloves are a necessity. Not just glass, rusty jagged metal, fish hooks and even medical waste sometimes! Hope you have better luck next time out.

ALWAYS wear decent shoes, not sandals. There are hypodermic needles around also.

That reminds me that I need a bottle of peroxide and some super glue for my digging vehicle.

Ouch! Hope it's not too painful! I'm bad about putting on the gloves too. Thanks for visual reminder! :hello:

I was hunting the back yard of a rental house once and found several double edge razor blades that were still sharp outside the bathroom window. Pinpointer and gloves saved my fingers.

I really like Ansell coated gloves. They are inexpensive, come in all sizes down to extra small, and can be tossed in the washer when they get too dirty.

Ouch,Ouch,Ouch! At least it bleed alot. It's a reminder to us all. I don't think sometimes, and the dirt separates the skin from my nails. Not a happy thing either.

It was so much fun thou, it was my first real hunt! I was so excited that I didn't even notice till my husband started to freak out lol, luckily I didn't need stitches just some medical glue, and I was up to date on my tetanus shot already :), the glue wouldn't hold up since its on a very odd part of my hand, so we got out the super glue :) im a bleeder if you cant tell. Gloves are already loaded in my bag for my next hunt at a house that no longer stands on some property of my friends! he never knew till I showed him a aerial picture from 1958 :)
