When all one is finding is clad, day after day. It gets rather

I find clad pretty boring too, but eventually the good stuff pops out. At least you got out today!

Clad is boring, but it keeps you looking and helps pay for batteries. Bullet is a modern (fired) rifled slug for a shotgun.

That's a shotgun slug. Thanks for sharing, can't always be a Early American Silver, even as much as we want it to be.

Had one of those "clad" days yesterday too, Whadi. Our eternal hope of unearthing precious metals is the driving force, we...must...dig...( and it is fun and great exercise!) I've seen your killer finds, surrounded by a pile of bling and clad. There are more to be had, hang in there. Sub 8-)

I agree, clad is boring. However, if you are finding clad, then you are probably in a jewelry spot as well. That's what keeps me going to soccer fields and modern parks!

Thanks for all the responses, folks!

Yeah, Blingie should be an honorary T-net member. :)

But, I dunno how long he can last. The hernia operations he's due
for are gonna be quite extensive! ;)

I went out last Friday to a park that I had not been to this year, hoping to find a ring or two, but it wasn't to be. Those shotgun slugs really blow your phones off your head, don't they?

I agree but at least you got out there. By the time I get off work these days it's pretty dark; not to mention cold.
Although, it's supposed to be warm for the next two days and I have both days off. I'd probably be happy to dig some clad at this point (until I got bored of course).

I remember when clad used to really excite me.
