What a great day, went out with Harold (in Florida) and Joe (SonnyFl) and we all had some good finds... They will post theirs as they want but I had a couple firsts for me.... first time I've got gold 3 hunts in a row and I believe the first time I've had 3 golds in one day. Total ring count was 5 for me, Les's "L" ring (Lions Club?) 4 grams 10k, a claddagh ring 1.9 grams 10k and a Mason's ring 5.1 grams 10k. Hunted the whole day in Pinpoint and even quit switching over to disc to decide to dig.... thus all the iron hoop earrings! However, the broken calddagh ring did not sound off as a target, it was a repeatable break in the threshold, no whisper, just a clean break in threshold...

Overall a real fun day with friends, it just doesn't get any better than that!

HH and GL all
Cliff

hey Lorraine!! Don't come to St.Augustine. I almost am ready to throw in the towel. Nada for days. Glad others are doing well:icon_thumleft:

The force is with you my friend keep it going!! Ray

I can't argue with that! It's been awhile to have a day like this. You worked for every piece you picked up,not including all the cans. I also enjoyed you guys company today. :occasion14:

L is the first letter in LOOT also, which you got plenty of !

Y'all need to take a break, and save some for when I get there on the 5th!

Cliff, what kind of detector do you use for the salt water?

Rob, most of my water hunting lately has been with the Minelab Excal with the Fisher CZ-21 as my backup. If conditions are right (low trash) OR I need a break on my swing arm, I use a Tesoro Sand Shark.... that coil slices right through the water, less drag and I can hunt hurt without problems for hours.

Awesome ring finds.:icon_thumright:
