Hey folks, I'm thinking 'bout getting a Lesche Sampson shovel and wondering which would better suit me.. 18" or 31" ?
I'm used to my knee pads and dropping down to dig (coins) with my knife, so might the 18" be better? Or, are you finding that 18" just a bit too short to be of much use?

I have both and only use the 31" but would take the 18" if I needed a little more stealth.

Looks like you already made up your mind, so I don't have to say 31.
