Congratulations on the new equipment, now don't let your new detector sit at home & collect dust, take it out, learn how it works, listen to what it tells you & above all have fun...don't forget to show us your finds! Good Luck!

Assuming there is a hole for headphones on your detector, they are worth the money, and don't have to cost much. Have fun and let us know what you find.

No jack for a headphone output, put a piece of duct tape over speaker to muffle the sound.

Those BH machines will kill on the clad.
If you need battery money you'll pretty much always find at least that.

Question: I noticed you found two pieces of silver jewelry. Did you find them with your EX??

Found them with the Neo Geo detector in the backyard.

Bounty Hunters are good machines. My first was a old Quick Draw 2 that I bought off CL for $75. I found enough clad to buy a F5. I go back to the places I hunted with the Bounty Hunter and don't find much, so it was a very good machine that really killed the clad.

Head down to Lincoln park - It's still producing silver coins.

Digging through the closet today and found this in one of my old coin collection booklets.

My dad put these together for me a very long time ago.. maybe 20 years ago or so.

I like this coin.. probably my new favorite right now.

12/27/14 - Went detecting again today for about an hour or two, got nothing. A lot of good signals to dig; nothing but pull tabs and garbage.. Just glad got out of the house for a bit.
