You look like you had the same day as me, but mine also included the red tide factor over here on the east coast.

Hey Gary, Nice to meet you.

Waves took there toll on us after 5 hours. Maybe we'll see you again out there. The targets are there, just need the right day and conditions.

Those waves look less menacing from up there. We thought the same untill we got out into them.

Paul

HEY Paul Also you have to be carefull of the rip tides out there on Lido ,That area is known for them.
Many folks have almost drowned out there , specially the snowbirds they don't know how to get out of them when they get caught up in one. Then they panic and then that's all she wrote .. Guzz1

Hunt the dry sand and when you get some deep signals and dig them up, they will be World War 2 shells, heh, heh. Actually they are spent .50 caliber cartridge cases and .50 caliber bullets. During the war, there wasn't anybody on those keys, so the military set up plywood targets of German Panzer tanks, trucks and other vehicles and the fighter pilots would strafe the targets for practice. Those .50 calibers spat out over 600 rounds a minute and some planes had eight guns on them. And hundreds of planes used those beaches for target practice. Thought I'd give you a history lesson in case you dig some of those cases up. ;D
