Lincoln campaign button, what's left of it...

Just pulled this from a day soak and was able to get some details. After a web search I believe it "once was" a Lincoln Campaign Button.

Looks like a positive ID to me. Condition or not, that's an incredibly important and cool piece of American history right there. Congrats.

Great ID Bart. That would have been passed over both in the dirt, and out of the dirt by many who wouldn't have recognized what it was. Excellent recovery!
