Little Buff is really Stuffed

This is Buff. I have had her a few weeks, and yes it is a chicken. She gorged herself on blueberries and a hard boiled egg I graciously crumbled for the three of them. They are not spoiled rotten enough yet.

Smoke do you ever feed them red wiggler worms? I know back in the day when feed grains were more scarce, people had worm farms to grow some chicken feed protein.

Yes! I used to gross out folks at work when I told them the true story that I on occasion fed them chicken salad. (Most of the chicken I ate however.) They do like chicken flavored cat food. They had dried mealworms today. They are a little on the wild side and I am trying to hand tame them. Maybe they'll be taught to fetch the mail. Or not.
