Good day digging, gold in sluice with every 1/2 bucket ran. Horrible day processing, spilled 1/3 of my cons into my lap and on the floor. Still ended up with a decent amount of fine gold then lost half of it trying to get it from the miller table into the jar....��

Right around that area the false clay bedrock is really close to the surface. Lots of cracks and crannies for gold to hide in if you can get in to them. Building a hand dredge over the next couple of days to try and get in there.

I've got a DIY hand dredge, maybe this Sunday we can give your spot a try too. That or a crevice tool if the dredge doesn't cooperate!

Good luck; I haven't tried there but have been further up the Platte at Grant Frontier Park.
