I found this in Florida on my family farm when I showed it to my grandmother she said that was to a horse that her grandfather took after he killed a union capt. somewhere in Virginia back in the civil war. I was 19 at the time I am now 45 and hope to pass this down to my son. To this day it is one of my top finds.

Nice Find I would suggest applying a light oil to it to keep it from rusting. Something like Gun oil or baby oil will work fine.
