Also forgot to mention there is a small flat spot on the ring with scarring marks, almost looks like it was used for a tool?

If your hunting the Little Miami in Ohio you are in a very artifact rich area. If you hunt plowed fields along the river you will have a nice collection in a very short time. If the piece on the left has a flat bottom I would tend to think it isn't Native American but a more modern piece. Don't really know what the piece on the right is. Is it made of bone or stone?

It looks and feels like stone to me but I'm no expertimage.jpg

:hello: Welcome to TNET!

I'd say they were prehistoric napkin holders. :laughing7: Just kidding! The item on the right looks like an older cut ham bone that has been water weathered.

Exactly what my girlfriend said! I told her Indians didn't use napkins, they used the back of their hand like me :)

Well I showed it to some people at work and everyone agrees its stone, one guy had an idea that it was a ancient type of thimble for sewing.

It has the weight of 10 ham bones, lol
