Probably one of my last detecting trips here in Taiwan as I will be returning to Germany soon.

Had some fun detecting on a mountain path in central Taiwan known to have been used as a trade route for centuries.
I encountered many little creatures along the way and found one Qing dynasty Cash coin "
治通寶" Tong zhi tong bao from 1861-1875 time period which was rather bad shape but still an ok find..
My buddy was more lucky finding a little "spill" of two 18th century Cash coins in the same hole dating back to the late 17's.

Enjoy the pics and happy hunting.

Cool finds! Personally i like the lizard most followed by the mantis. Your coin is prety cool too. Oh, when saying "cool", bring a warm coat and an ice pick when moving. Germany is a cold place right now....

Thanks, but don't worry I'm looking at some online stores that sell flame throwers to de-frost the ground for when we go detecting :D haha
