I was at the worlds most disgusting TS. I was going to leave, but saw some pins (tie tacks). I looked through and found 4 I might have been interested in. I asked, How much? She tells me, $1 a piece, but if I take more than 10, she'll give them to me for $0.25!!! LOL. Let's see ... $4 for four or $2.75 for 11??? Which do you think I took?

Got three JJ tie tacks, a few oplympic pins, and ones that I didn't care about but they were the least disgusting in the lot.

One time at a TS they had late 18th century-early 19th century sterling knifes and forks marked like this.

$
All 4 5.00. The clerk said its $5.00. It wasn't till I got home that I realized it should of been All $45.00.

Oh, that happened to me at my GWS. They had stunning crystal glasses in the box. 6 of them. It was marked $15. I grabbed it. I put it away, and several months later I went to clean them and put them in the china closet. Guess what? They were marked 1 for $15. I should have paid $95! But it was already several months ...

4 for $4 or 11 for $2.75... I'm lost on this clerks or owners thinking here! I could understand saying 50 cents or 1/2 price or 75 cents each (3/4 price) if you buy more than however many but 75% less makes me go hmmmmm

That's a good one & I can see how that could easily happen!

Let's hear about those Olympic pins.
Nothing so special. Nations Bank pins. I have to go back to that thread to see what you said about them.

Pool hall, game room and bar. "Aardvark" with a pioneering soul-patch behind the bar. Aardvark thought there were six quarters in a dollar. Constant stream of people asking for change for a dollar. Ah, priceless memories!
