The dumpy seltzer bottles look pretty compact and like nothing I've seen before.Torpedo bottles are cool and of course I don't have any in my collection.Might have to pick up a couple of inks too.Is there any color that is more collectible? Cobalt blue is always a good one I'm sure.

You can walk along the river Thames and pick up relics. I don't know if they will let you dig. I think they call it "mudding." Sir Surf posted a link recently about these relic hunters.

Gee, Coily, why concentrate on bottles over there? If I were going over there again, I'd bring my detector and hook up with an English MD club or an English member from here and go detect where one can find thousand year old coins and relics!! Then look for a bottle.

Have a great trip Coily!! Ive made those rounds. Make sure you see the Rodan Museum in Paris, and in Amsterdam the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, and a lesser known one, the Maritime Museum. The nightlife in Amsterdam is fantastic and have fun in the "coffee houses" and there are I think, more bars per block in Amsterdam than any place I've been. Oh yeah, don't forget the Heiniken factory tour!! Belgium has more breweries per capita than any country in the world, and some fantastic beers. They were serving beer in the Brussels train station at 6AM when I was getting a train to Amsterdam!!

When I traveled to Belgium I remember you could get beer at McDonald's!
