After a long dry spell I have finally found a wheat penny (dated 1957), found in a pasture near my house. This is the same field where I found all the shot gun headstamps. Now maybe I can start to find other old coins. The headstamps are older than this penny but still holding hope that I will find some coins from the 1920's era that match the headstamps and the lipstick tubes found.
