I talked with Kevin yesterday..they were buttoning up and prepping...

That being said..I really hope they get out and come back later...the Bahama's government is in a mandatory evacuation of 6 of the SE islands...all with a landrise of than 9' sea level. The stormsurge prediction is 20' + for that area...

Yeah..I'm alittle bit concerned.

And is a real bad situation with the hurricane center calling for 15-20 foot surge on long island......that is a really bad situation.....Kevin...I know you don't have many options for evac to a shelter....some flotation aids from your boat are in order here....

be safe you and yours

Keep all life jackets handy and tie a bottle of drinking water to each.
Tie the metal detector to that so that you can be the first one on the beach.

He and Audrey are safe. No electricity, so it's hard to get messages out. But at least they're safe! We'll be hearing from him eventually.

Just got wi fi back, thanks so much for all of your concern, 70 to 80 mph for a few hours, no damage and when I went to the beach where yellow coins have been found as the wind started to drop, no luck, not even a steel nail, no sand either... ha ha

Thanks again !

Glad this next one is going to miss you, Kev (I would say you and Audrey have had more than your fill of storms for awhile).

Prayers for the people in Puerto Rico. They got hammered.
