Now thats pretty cool I love finding stuff like that I once found a jar under a tree full of muddy coins didnt know what they were I was drooling until I got the lid off all pennies recent pennies lol but it was fun Great post. Tommy

That’s cool. I buried a margarine tub of coins when I was a kid. Wonder if anybody ever found it.

somewhat odd. the variety, ages, and conditions of the items suggest to me that they were metal detecting finds. Maybe someone had found them and placed them all together either as a 'trash' pile or intended to come back for them but didn't
