When I was younger I would have looked inside the holes with a flaslight and a heavy magnet on a rope to see if anthing interesting was in there. :hello2: :headbang:

They're 'concretions', they are all over these mountains.

I want a closer look at your canyons.
My friend you may have inadvertently stumbled onto a treasure trail.

even small treasure caches on a KGC trail are VERY valuable.
Post that two trunked tree in KGC and see what happens.

BTW; forget what SWR has to say.
He is a putz of the first degree.

Tree looks like a pair of running legs with a 'pecker hole in the left one..........NGE
