I have been too busy to detect, lately, but am looking forward to the upcoming summer. Meanwhile, I've been finding stuff in the streets and gutters here, while on my morning dog walks. Last month I found the remains of a nice watch, last week I found a gold earring (it had a stone at one time, but since it got run over the stone is gone), and yesterday I found a silver 'Harley Davidson' ring weighing 13+ grams. Add to that a few silver rings found earlier, and I'm getting a small pile of scrap silver and gold building up. All of these pieces are thrashed from being run over, but are still fun to find. Yup, the streets are paved with silver and gold!

Wow... what a productive winter!

My 7 year old daughter often reminds me of the time she went out MD'ing with me and found a quarter... without even using a metal detector!!!!!!! LOL!!!!

I found a gold earring (hoop), while detecting yesterday, just lying on the surface. Guess that's how it gets in the ground in the first place, we just happen to find it before it digs in for the winter!
