Look what I got as a "quarter" in my change today!

Stopped at the neighborhood 7-11 and got this in my change. Didn't notice till I got in the car and put my change away. I was wondering why there was a lady's figure on our quarters, hadn't seen one of those before, on closer inspection it's a French Franc $1. 1961!

I was hoping it was but it's not, but nice surprise! It is the same size as a quarter.

We have 7-11s in every city here in Florida, especially the beach towns...some beach towns have one every mile or so.

Well Msbeepbeep that's quite a find. Congrats!!!! After a little research I've discovered that this is a rare coin (in 7-11 stores). Only 3 known to exist in the world today (from 7-11's). I'm an expert on these French Franc's since I dig horseshoes in Tennessee. Pictured below is the 3rd rare 7-11 French Franc. I vote BANNER!!!!!

I know Limitool it was a fantastic rare find, ye 'ole 1961 French Franc in 7-11 change! Usually I get short changed not given more! It's banner that I didn't crash the site!

Well now there is no excuse for not finding that chest of gold...or a golden horse shoe, right?

As for video...I once unintentionally, made one of my feet walking, didn't know I had turned it on! So I doubt I will be trying that one, I don't know the difference between PDF and BVD !
