looking for 43 steel pennies?

As I may ahve mentioned I work as a teller. i also have heard people complain how hard it is to get 43 wheat cents. Next time you go to a bank ask for silver pennies. The coin sorting machines have a magnetic device on them that keeps out foriegn coins and 43 cents. We keep a stash of war pennies simply because they wont make it into the coin bags. Prolly a good reason why you penny hunters cant find any. Also ask for foriegn coins. We simply cant do anything with them and give them away for free for the lucky person who asks for them. Hey free coins are free coins.

Working as a teller, are you able to snag silver on a regular basis? What's some of your oldests?
