My vote for the best gold machine would be the Minelab GPX5000 as long as you don't need to go under water. I'd go with a Fisher CZ21 or Garrett Infinium LS for water. The best buy would be a Gold Bug 2....they're still a very good gold machine at any price.

So gold bug II with the knobs instead of the gold bug pro with the screen? Can u send me links to them
Yes, If you're just wanting a gold machine, I'd pick the Gold Bug 2 Pro which comes with 2 coils. If you want one that will do better with coins and relics, the one with the I.D. screen would be a better choice.....again, get both coils. Just log onto any of our supporting vendor sites. They'll have the info there.

So will the GPX5000....and at greater depth. It just depends on what you have to spend and how serious you are about it.
