I just published my book on Texas, "Texas Military Sites 1700-1900" http://www.shop.rebellionbooks.com/Texas-Military-Sites-1700-1900-MST1.htm and am looking to expand it a little dealing with specific Texas heroes. One of them I am interested in is Tom Green, from Texas but killed during the Red River Campaign at Blair's Landing, La.

I am particularly interested in learning of any locations, it doesn't have to be exact, where the Tom Green bullets have been found. I have heard tales they were found in different places that Green's men were never at, so i'm trying to piece together how they may have gotten there.

LATX,
What makes a bullet- a "Gen Tom Green bullet" specifically? Is it a caliber, mold, or marking special to his Texas Cavalry Commands? I hunt all long the Bayou Tech and Red River Campaign areas- but don't know what sets any apart from the others as his? Surely u don't mean the cannon ball that hit him in the head.
Post or PM me some detail- might like to help.
