Looking for info on Shipwreck off Georgia's Coast

I am trying to find out the name of the ship that went down off Georgia's Coast probably around 1684 or 1685 though it could have been a year or two earlier. The ship would have been coming from the United Kingdom. There would have been only one surviver an Ancestor, Edward Ainsworth. I have found mention of Stranger's Rock which he survived on. So far I have not found any information on the ship. I am not sure where to look for information. If there is a website that contains passenger lists and info on ships that would be great.

You may want to try contacting someone at the Mariner's Museum in Newport News, Virginia. http://www.mariner.org/ They the largest maritime library in the Americas. Other than a local place in Georgia, I would think you will have the best luck with them. Good luck and keep us updated!
