Digging through things I haven’t looked at in years. These are a few of the older, if not valuable, coins I have. Acquired them through my grandmother, in the early 1960’s, when I was a kid. The box also had a lot of early 20th century Canadian, Korean, Japanese, etc. These are: British North Borneo 1888, 1856 French 5 centimes and a 1895 Hungarian 2KB. Not coins most kids in 1960’s Iowa were lucky enough to have. These were the gifts that interested me in coin collecting at an early age, and eventually (1970) to metal detecting. Though I would share.

That mirrors my history of coin collecting and getting into metal detecting in 1970 also. Are you my long lost twin? :laughing7:
