Brinks give the clear wraps, you will need to find a bank that has brink for their logistics.

Okay thanks! Also do you have any experience with dimes? Are customer wrapped better than Loomis boxes?

I read that Loomis recruits high school seniors during summer vacation, to cull silver.
At $1.25 ea melt value, Loomis is making a killing on those silver dimes! :tongue3:

Sorry for my previous post - pure sarcasm!

Does Loomis cull silver? No! Yes!

I've roll hunted since the mid 1970's, if you want to find silver dimes, think VOLUME!

Many hunters give up on dimes after a few rolls or boxes, but you won't get a good idea until you've searched several thousand dollars worth.

As far as the clear-wrapped Brinks dimes are concerned, I never had much luck with 'em, and I've searched well over $100,000 in dimes last couple years.

I've gotten 3 boxes of Loomis dimes and all are skunk... Am I missing something, does Loomis cull silver or what lol? Also how do I get those tubes of dimes that come in clear plastic? Would save me A LOT of time.

Loomis is weird. There dime boxes do produce but not as well as Others in my area. There halves are terrible! After thousands and thousands searched I've only found 5 40% in one box. I avoid loomis when ever I can. Dime are not bad though .

I averaged about 1 silver dime per $1100 searched. 9 out of every 10 boxes were skunks.

In my area Brinks has done away with the clear plastic roll, now using a heavier grade paper wrap (green & white), results are low.

Ok thanks for the input ill keep at it determined to find a silver dime and quarter. Also if I ever buy like say $500 in dime how long would It take you guys to go through them? If you had NO free coin machines at all in your area would the only other option be to roll them up? :/ ughhh that takes me forever

Before I quit last year, I was bringing home $1,000 - $2,000 in hand-rolled dimes at a time. I can edge search and re-roll $5 in less than 10 seconds. So, normally I could search $1,000 in less than 2 hours leisurely. My arrangement allowed me to dump $500 in rolls over the counter. Sometimes I used the coin counter if I was dumping boxes.

Why'd you quit? Not worth it anymore?

My record for skunk dimes from a certain provider numbered in the 30's. 3 boxes is not a wide sample.
