Found in Biloxi, MS from dirt underneath a road construction with my NOX 600
That’s a nice one, and a variety I don’t have.Found in Biloxi, MS from dirt underneath a road construction with my NOX 600
Biloxi seafood tokens are hard to find. I have been digging and collecting local tokens for years.I know this is a longshot, but Lazaro Lopez was my great-great-grandfather. I've been searching in Mississippi and Louisiana coin shops for years, as well as on eBay, for any tokens from Lopez, Elmer and Company, Lopez, Dunbar’s Sons and Company, Lopez & Dukate, Dunbars, Lopez, and Dukate Company, etc. My dad has asked me for years to keep my eyes out for one because he'd love to have that family connection. I've struck out so far. His birthday is next month. If you have any advice on where I can find an old Lopez token, I'd be so grateful. The closest I've found was a Biloxi Canning Company token from the 1940s, but as far as I know, my family was no longer in the Biloxi seafood industry then.
