Part 1 -- Maps and Photos

Of most interest to me, are the maps contained in this book, because they enable places to be located when the old placenames are no longer in use. The landscape photos convey the harsh reality of the desert terrain and how difficult it was, and still is, to traverse those barren landscapes. As far as the tales contained in the book are concerned, they are well written, but other versions of them can be found in other sources. The information contained in this book will not guide the way to any lost mines.

Hey Skyhawk, nice stories. Thanks to provide them.
Here is a Terry Carter video which says about rich placer gold just north of Death Valley region. Enjoy!
