I went to wrap my Wife's Christmas present and when I reached for it , it was gone!? I had it in my shop to hide it and it was nowhere to be found!:dontknow:
It was a beautiful Alexandrite set in a 14K pendant setting with a 14K chain.
I knew it was where I had placed it , but LoL, It disappeared!

Sooo, I went through the trash, then combed the shelves, searched my desk and all the work tables! Still nothing???
My daughter said it had to be somewhere and I thought you are right! It has to be somewhere!
Man I was beside myself with this when I decided to search behind the WorkBench! I saw a packet! Was this it?
It was!! Yay!!!!

Moral of the story. Don't put off wrapping what you can wrap today and get it under the tree.

Plus, If you clean up your shop before you wrap it pretty sure you're gonna lose it!:laughing7:
Not a banner find but very happy to have found it.

Man, this getting old is new to me! :laughing7:

Have a Merry Christmas everyone!

Your Christmas story takes me back to my teenage years. Back then I was a wee bit of a hippie. I developed a liking for hand rolled cigarettes. Not the legal kind mind you. One day my best friend and I made a modest purchase and it was very potent stuff. To avoid having the parental units discover it I strategically hid it in the basement. That was in 1969. I moved out on my own in 1973 and for four years from time to time I would look for that little goodie bag. Sadly it was never located. Moral of this story is wait a few hours after sampling the goodies before hiding the rest.

The pendant is stunning! I am positive your wife is going to love it.

hate to tell you, but for some of us, it gets worse... this getting old. glad you were able to find it. most of the time I give up on finding something and just go buy another only to find it later. it is beautiful and a great find as well

Good save RG. That would have been a heck of thing to lose.

Best wishes to you and the family during the holiday season.

One sure sign you're getting old is when you're 5 miles from the house on your way metal detecting and have to turn around and go back for your metal detector.
