Hello Everyone,
Today I went to another field I’ve hunted in the past. This field can be very muddy, but today it was ridiculous. Each step I sank about 3 inches and walking was very difficult, but I considered it exercise. I spent a little over 3 hours exercising, sure beats a gym membership. On this adventure, I used the AT Pro, large coil, Pro-mode, iron audio=on with sensitivity at one bar less then max. Working very slowly, overlapping each swing by 30% and gridding one of the more productive areas; many keepers were recovered. The day produced: Coins, Jewelry, Old Buttons, Bottles, Pottery and a few interesting Relics. The two spoon handle pieces were recovered about 20 feet apart, I found that rather interesting. The coins, as usual are rather toasty, but the flat buttons are in decent shape. In one area a high concentration of oyster shells and pottery were dug at a depth of 10” — 12”; perhaps I have stumbled upon an old trash pit!
This is my sixth day in row hunting in February in Massachusetts, could tomorrow be number seven!
Thank you for looking.
