I went back by the bank this morning and they still had the remaining 4 rolls. Here are the results.

Roll 1 - 1967 x3, 1968D, 1969D
Roll 2 - 1966, 1967 x3
Roll 3 - 1965, 1967, 1968D, 1969D x2
Roll 4 - 1964, 1966, 1967, 1969D x2

Total 1 - 90% and 18 - 40%.

I will have to check this bank often!

Don't worry Silvercop! I don't have the money to buy multiple boxes like many do. I may order a box when my tax refund comes in. Maybe since your in South Alabama, you can hit all the banks the casinos use before the gov shuts them down!

actually i am in east central alabama about 15 miles north of auburn (WAR EAGLE). i am near victoryland in shorter. not a good place to coin hunt though, all the machines use paper that you take to the window to cash out. the machines don't take coins either, only currency or cards (credit, debit, or player cards issued at the casino). the whole complex is shut down right now after the governor sent all those troopers over there. guess all of alabama's gambling revenue will go to georgia and mississippi now :icon_scratch:

yea ob the governor said that the bingo(slot machines) are illegal in alabama and the state supreme court issued an opinion that agreed with him. he sent about 100 troopers over to victoryland and whitehall in dothan last week. victoryland has been shut down ever since, i don't know about whitehall though. the funny thing is that victoryland has been operating for years and what really seems funny to me is the governor waited until he was not eligible for re-election to address the issue. in alabama one person can not serve more than 2 consecutive terms as governor. he can serve again if re-elected but he has to sit out 4 years before he can run again.

So what's the big deal about gambling? Why does this governor think it's so evil? Isn't he taking away a lot of revenue and jobs at this bad economic time in our country? I don't go to casinos because I know my chances are not good of winning in the long run but it's up to the person doing it. Doing CRH is better, it's like doing a slot machine with no losses except gas money.

the governor of our state says that gambling is illegal here and studies show that states that permit gambling have higher crime rates, higher suicide rates, higher divorce rates, more domestic violence, more foreclosures, and children suffer more. he has blamed everthing on gambling it would seem.
when are these bonehead politicians going to learn that it don't matter what laws they pass in the statehouse or in washington dc for that matter it's not going to keep people from doing what they want to do. people are going to drink, smoke, and gamble no matter what the government says. sure is a shame all that revenue will go to other states.
i guess gambling is why the unemployment rate is so high here and our schools are ranked 49 out of 50 states? this state is so backwards about somethings.
for all of you who have not heard what is going on here do a google search on victoryland, bingo in alabama, and governor bob riley. see for yourself
