I pulled this out of the ground today. It is a flattened penny. I had a few when I was a kid from various attractions. I just found the subject matter on this one neat so here it is for you to enjoy. Maybe it is lucky because before I dug it up I was in a dry spell, finding nothing but trash. then after, I hit a area that yielded $10 in quarters and a 60 gram mens sterling chain with charms. maybe Ill the mojo charm on my detector somewhere. I cleaned it up a little to show the detail.
I also pulled a few of these doubloons, these little buggers have a vdi of +90 and when you see them in the hole they look like a silver dollar. it gets the blood flowing just to let you down. oh well. at least its not a pop can. And i found a Chuck-E-Cheese token.
