Lunch break digs ~ 1945 Merc dime & 1953 Rosie dime!

Hello!

It's another slow day in my office ~ the weather is super nice, so I had to go detecting on my lunch break! I got permission to do the lawn of an older house down town. I dug a 1945-S Merc dime, 1953-S Rosie dime, 1941 nickel, two 1944 wheat cents and some clad.

These are my silver coin finds #93 & #94 for the year! Getting closer & closer to my goal of 100! I took pic's of the silver coins before & after I cleaned 'em up.

Thanks for looking!
Neil

Thanks man!

Yeah, it's a shame to waste my lunch eating! I'm not sure what I do different on my lunch break hunts compaired to my weekend all-day hunts . . . . somrtimes it seems that I find better stuff on my short hunts than on my all-day outings!

Congrats on a very "productive" lunch!

I love hunting on my lunch break, and it only gets better if I can meet up with my dad and go hunting on a lunch break.

Do you polish up your silver coins? They look really good!!!!

I don't really "polish" up the coins. . . . . . I make a paste out of baking soda and warm water and gently rub the coin in my fingers. But I only do this with common date silver ~ I'd never do that with any high grade or key date coin.

THANKS Ron!

I sure hope so! Maybe with the rain that's coming that will help soften up the ground and we'll get a few more inches of depth!

LATER!
