When I got home a bit ago, I could hear these little guys peep peep peep in the neighbors sunflowers. Makes me wonder on how it was this species of bird came to blend in so well with this particular flower? The skies are really getting grey here this late afternoon, but a very nice cool down comes along with it.

I love watching those birds. The old lady planted some sunflowers right outside the dining room windows a couple years ago and we could watch them up close. They really like the seeds.

They show up here in the spring, then disappear.
